Hm. Something coming up, perhaps? Or it’s possible someone higher than her is putting the pressure on. Or even an outside source could be making her feel like she needs to push her workers harder. It could be any number of things. Though I’m sorry she’s been putting you through the wringer.

Oh, it wasn’t terrible. An older client of mine enjoys taking me out on extended weekend trips every so often. Nothing physical. He’s got no living relatives and just enjoys spending a weekend out in the wilderness recounting his glory days to someone. Though he’s very strict with the ‘no technology on vacation’ rule. Which is why I haven’t been on.
